Pebbled Irish Beach, Winter Trees and the Mountains of Beara, Kenmare Bay – The second of s series of four photographs, ‘Low Tide, Cloudy Morning’.  Taken on a crisp winter morning, on the north shore of Kenmare Bay close to Templenoe, with the mist-shrouded hills of the Beara peninsula in the background.  Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland.  March 2021.

A dramatic morning of heavy clouds hanging over the hills of the Beara Peninsula.  The receding tide reveals a pebbled shoreline. Crabs scurry in the shallow rivulets of rippled-silt-sand and rockpools.  Breath deep, you can almost smell the Irish sea air.

Framed with a charcoal grey, mid-light frame and pale grey card mount.
